Imamia Medics International (IMI) Zaynab is a registered non-profit organization in the USA in process to get 501(c)(3).
Birth of IMI-Zaynab:
October 2019: Establishment of the first steps to fulfill the dream of helping the needy in Syria
July 2021: Certificate of Incorporation by state of Delaware and announcement of the organization to be non-profit one with Employer Identification Number (EIN) of: 87-1908439
June 2022: Launch of IMI-Zaynab’s web site.
Purpose:
As health and medical professionals of Syrian origin inspired by the Ahlul Bayt, our purpose is to provide medical, educational, humanitarian, and advocacy services to communities of Syrian origin, and other vulnerable populations.
Mission Statement:
IMI Zaynab is a non-profit organization with one goal, that is to serve the human kind with any humanitarian support such as food, medicine, medical equipment, education and educational tools.
Vision:
Inspired from the Quranic verse: ”... And whoever saves the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of mankind...” (5-Al Ma’ida “32”).
Bring together the intellectual and professional resources of the Shia Muslim community to serve humanity.
The board membership is restricted to US citizens with Syrian Shia origin and in the health care profession.
Yet, the beneficiaries include individuals from diverse backgrounds without regard to religious affiliations, to provide them with medical, nutritional and educational relief.
Membership:
Members: US citizens with Syrian origin.
Board of trustee: Not less than three Directors elected from the members and who are in the healthcare profession.
Officers: President, treasurer, secretary and such other officers elected from the members.
