Earthquake Diabetic Survivors Project (March 2023)

Thousands of people had lost everything due to the devastating earthquake in the northern part of Syria. Many diabetic kids, adults and elders had lost their glucometers and diabetic medications. Several left with dangerous high sugar levels due to lack of supplies and medicine.

IMI-Zaynab with the help of Al-Ighatha organization and the Diabetic organization in Syria were able to test more than 2000 people, treat more than 400 patients with medicine for at least two months supply and distribute more than 200 glucosmeters for continuous monitoring of blood sugar in high risk diabetic patients. The Diabetic organization had visited multiple shelters in Aleppo and Jableh. Our mission will continue to help the poor and needy with humanitarian support.
